Friday
Clare Kramer
about 3:15 PM Clare arrives in limo from airport
Reading one of Dan Brown's earlier novels (with several "glory" word uses) in the hotel lobby about 3 PM.
Suddenly, Clare called out from the lobby counter like 'Hey, I see you did make it'.
She was just checking in. So we wandered over to banter with her as she presented her gold American
Express card for incidentals. And decided she needed two room key cards, because she'd probably
misplace one. Later Clare would comment about arriving at the airport (5 minutes away) and being
pleasantly surprised as a lImo awaited her.
LAX to Toronto
Clare traveled light, only a mediumish rolling black carry-on and an oversized matching shoulder
messenger-style bag. She had her big smile, as usual.
Clare'd slept most of the time since takeoff from LAX, which is about 25 drivIng minutes from her home.
And said the only lines at 4:30 AM she saw were ones in the street for Southwest Airlines. She credited
her own little travel sleep support pillow for the ease of sleeping. Later that evening Clare would retire after
midnight and sleep for at least 12 hours, returning downstairs only in the early afternoon.
A pattern she repeated the next evening.
Still physically more on L.A. time

Clare was quite talkative.
Especially after the other attendees ran out of questions.
And we pretty much had her to ourselves for long periods of time.
Gravitate
Clare'd made a beeline for our table for the reception.
To "gravitate" toward those she knew, she said.
Ballet Legs
As an aside, related to the interim posts above (Introduction) discussion of Clare's
height with and without her ubiquitous heels, she's got real long ballet legs. So that
when she sits down in a chair, she's smaller than one would think when standing with her.
Clare holds Glory
As at the earlier reunion at the check-in counter,
she was comfortable and cheerful. As can be seen in the various photos of her with the custom-made
Glory action figure an attendee had made. (This was after the reception).
Julie's Poncho
She was wearing the poncho she'd worn at the Oakland convention, per some video online of that
recent event. Clare said that her friend Julie Benz made it for her.
Emilie de Ravin
Clare said that Emilie was so much on travel/location in Hawaii and back home in Australia that Clare
rarely had seen her. She noted that Emile does get and appreciate the occasional stuff
we send her about her career from on-line, and elsewhere, as souvenirs.
As we've also done for many years with Clare.
LOST
Clare had her TIVO (40 hour) set up for the repeat that evening of the first two LOST episodes.
She was pleased with Emilie's "Claire" (what a coincidence, we agreed) so far.
Video & DVDs
Clare gave permission to do some video clips from her site interview of 2 May 04 in Blackpool.
And, by extension, of the 2 hours of her Q&A's 2 &3 Oct 04 we later did. One of the first things we did
after returning from Toronto was to copy the video from DV tape to DVD and send Clare a copy.
As we 'd done for her Starfury interview. And as we've done of all her TV appearances to date,
from satellite digital hard drive recordings.
